Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Vetter Fairings

• Will a Vetter fairing fit my motorcycle? Yes, a Vetter fairing will fit any motorcycle. The trick is finding the mounting bracket for your bike. If you need a mounting bracket, email us with your bikes YEAR/MAKE/MODEL & Model LETTER (if you're bike is newer than 1985 you will need to find a metal fabricator to make a custom mounting bracket). The Vetter company sold out their business in the early 1980's.

• I am not sure if I have a Vetter fairing. Will your windshield fit my fairing? Check to see the mounting hole measurements here.

• Are the Vetter fairings made out of fiberglass? All vetter fairings are made of ABS plastic and will not shatter, dent or rust but they can crack. Hotcha repair kits are used for this kind of repair.

• Which models do these windshields fit? All windshields for the Vetter Windjammer fairings, fit all Windjammer II, III, IV, V & SS models.

• Will the Lowers fit my Windjammer SS? All Lowers will fit each model above, except the Windjammer V model.

• Will the QuickSilver fairing fit my bike? Yes, a Vetter fairing will fit any motorcycle. The trick is finding the QuickSilver mounting bracket for your bike.

Kawasaki

Used Red Kawasaki Fairing made by Vetter SOLD
Does not have turn signals built-in, but does have the brackets to support them. This model has a left soft vinyl cover that snaps on and the right side has a hard cover locking compartment for storage with key.

Vindicator

Windjammer II

(only 50,000 made)
Used Vetter Windjammer II SOLD
This model has a toggle switch which turns the side marker lights on/off. Has soft vinyl covers with snaps on both left and right side for storage. Vetter Sound system is not included. Also see, mounting bracket.

Windjammer III

Looks like the Windjammer II

Windjammer III $349.99 SOLD
Has soft vinyl covers on both left and right side for storage.

Windjammer IV

Looks like the Windjammer SS  and is hard to tell the difference, with built-in turn signals.
Used Vetter Windjammer IV $339.99 SOLD
This model has a left soft vinyl cover that snaps on (a few snaps missing) and the right side has a hard cover locking compartment for storage with key. The rest of the fairing is in very good condition. Comes with windshield shown. Wiring harness (plugs directly to headlight wiring, 9pin connector is missing as shown.

Windjammer V

Newest style Windjammer for the late 1970's and looks similar to the IV & SS

This model has a left soft vinyl cover that snaps on and the right side has a hard cover locking compartment for storage and a convenient headlight adjustment knob with headlight. See photos above for condition.

Windjammer SS

Looks like the Windjammer IV and is hard to tell the difference, with built-in turn signals.
